Hi lovely folks, I know I had been giving a preview for this on my Instagram account about how I am excited to go to this year’s Lakme Fashion Week show. Well, I had few reasons for the same.
Firstly, my blog as a brand was started only last year and this was huge for me to be invited by not just someone but by a brand who believed in the sustainable use of materials i.e Plastics in this case. For someone who believes in recycle, this was an amazing opportunity to know a brand that believed in the same. Secondly, this brand is being run by Kanika who happens to be this young and energetic girl with lots of ideas. Thirdly, the bags DO NOT look recycled from plastic bags !!! It looks as beautiful as you would buy a soft leather bag. Lastly, that day was all about girl power with a girl blogger (me !!! lol ), my buddy who clicked me ” Sampada ” of The Illogical Aquarian and a brand which believed in a cause run by Kanika
How did the day go? Details of the makeup done?
That day was the most hectic thing I could ask for, I missed the show because of this very bad traffic. I was so looking forward to seeing the show though 🙁
Though I missed the show I couldn’t miss seeing the products. I went to Lifaffa’s Stall and had a look at the handpicked collection for the event.
Coming to me makeup!!!
My makeup was all about aiming to be noticed. The hair was wild and glammed up with beautifully dark lips by Kylie Cosmetics which I just recently purchased. The base was clear and I did not contour because I wanted it to look young. I did add fake lashed as I skipped my Kohl. Also, since I love everything about “bling”, I opted for highlighting my nose and cheekbones.

These were my favorites at the stall of Lifaffa at
Lakme Fashion Week:
This Black backpack is everything. The entire look and feel of the product were so chic and beautiful that it was so easy to style with what I was wearing. The variety that they provided was pretty good for the number of products launched. I could barely decide what I should try from laptop sleeves to chic bag packs, they had them all.
