Newspaper Printed Top with Ripped Jeans and Boots

Newspaper Printed Top with Ripped Jeans and Boots

Hey everyone, I have been having so many outfits pending and I love sharing them with you all. Since a lot of you felt I play it very safe, I opted for this amazing newspaper printed top.

How did I style this Newspaper Printed Top?

I was so confused on how to pair this outfit as this is a very radical piece. I wanted to tone everything else down and hence opted for jeans with black boots. The look is very summer friendly as well as the newspaper printed top is not skin tight and also pairing it up with ripped jeans made it comfortable. For the accessories, I opted for purple sunglasses as I wanted to break the monotony and wanted a pop of color. Also, I paired it up with a bag that I usually carry as the look was very street-friendly.

I usually prefer nude makeup but this time I wanted to incorporate colors. I opted for purple + pink eyeshadows and nude lipstick this time. I also opted for sharp winged liners to enhance the eye look.

I believe this would be so appropriate for most of the body types in India. Also, I have opted for keeping my hair in a low pony as it looked so cool and effortless for this look. People usually say that petite women should avoid prints but we small girls can rock anything and we need not follow the fashion rules all the time.

This doesn’t seem to be so different from your other ‘safe’ outfits. Seems to be just the same old stuff.
One advice I would give; lose the glasses. It doesn’t suit you and makes you look like a forty year old.

    1. Must be very easy and empowering to be a keyboard warrior and give condescending comments to someone. This is definitely not a safe outfit for me as graphic prints are not something that I usually wear. FYI I don’t mind looking like a 40-year-old so I am loving those glasses, thanks for the advice. One advice from my end would be to develop love and kindness instead of being mean and bitter, it would make your life easier and of course for others around you.

Why are you getting defensive? I’m not being condascending. I’m just pointing out that you have mentioned that this is a radical outfit but there is nothing radical other than this being a printed tee. But if you feel that wearing graphic tee is radical, then good work . The advice about the glasses was because I’ve been following you for some time and I found the glasses not suiting you at all. Just because I point something out does not make me a keyboard warrior and does not mean I have to show my face as a reference to qualify to give you suggestions. It is not out of bitterness that I told what told but in wanting to see you branch out. Had I known that you would respond like this, I wouldn’t have bothered to say anything and I realise now that following your blog and your social media accounts is a mistake. Good day to you madam.

        1. I stand by what I said 🙂 Using “age” as an insult is not cool at all and not sure why someone would use that as an insult. I am very open to criticism and most of the time I have taken in suggestions but in this case, I also know a bully when I see one. Thank you for following me for such a long time, you would not be missed.
